Ile d'Orléans

We spent Sunday exploring the "cradle of French America," Ile d'Orléans. We started off with a guided tour of the restored 18th-century Manoir Mauvide-Genest, followed by a picnic lunch and tour at the Parc maritime by the Saint-Lawrence. We continued on with a visit to a local fish raiser and cider maker, a pick-your-own raspberry farm, and, to top it all off, a chocolaterie.
